Hey Everyone!
I’m finally home and I feel so much better! When mum came to pick me up I hopped right out of my crate and was so excited to see her! The vet said they couldn’t have been happier with the ampawtation and I only have a few days of meds. My staples can come out in 10 days and for now I just need a little more rest. I got to keep my shoulder too cause I can still feel that part.. I think mum was surprised!
And guess what!? I hopped around the yard when I got home and went up the stairs all by myself! All 8 of them!!! I’m real tired so I’m gonna take a nap now…I’m so glad to be home!

Congratulations Xander!! Welcome home! Glad to see you have made it through so well! Remember that rest is important, but it is nice to hear that you are getting around so well. 8 steps!! That’s impressive.

Okay Xander. You ARE a SuperDog, but do take it a little bit slow this week – not too much stair-hopping or you might have to return to the vet for enforced rest like Jackers did.
And don’t hesitate to get some more pain drug IF you feel a bit grumpy when your mum or dad take you off it, okay? There is nothing wrong with easing the pain the first two weeks – it can help you to heal.
Glad to hear that you’re home and doing OK. Take it easy these first few days ok? There’s going to be a lot of ups and downs, and the more rest you get now the better off you’ll be!
